CASE OF THE MONTH

CASE #2

FUNDUS PHOTOGRAPH OS   FLUORESCEIN ANGIOGRAM OS
Fundus photo reveals disciform scar with adjacent subretinal hemorrhage   Fluorescein angiogram reveals subretinal hemorrhage OS
The fundus appearance is due to disciform scar with adjacent subretinal hemorrhage at its superior and inferior borders. The blood appears green. No RPE-level detail (eg, drusen) is evident because of the subretinal location of the blood.     Fluorescein angiogram reveals normal retinal vasculature and blockage of underlying choroidal fluorescence due to subretinal blood.
